We extend a warm welcome to you and your child as you enter the doors of Fuerstenau Early Childhood Center. It is a special place for children to continue their development as learners. As stated in our mission statement, our promise to the community is to provide a place where everyone is welcome to play, learn and grow.

At Fuerstenau Early Childhood Center, we know that our job is to be ready for all children. We celebrate the diversity of our learners, respect each child as a unique individual and accept challenges in a positive and productive manner. As we work collaboratively, our staff models how to successfully live, learn and play together. Our responsibility is to highlight each child's strengths and promote learning in all developmental areas.

The staff at Fuerstenau Early Childhood Center is committed to working in a partnership with you and your child in order to help them reach their fullest potential. We invite and encourage you to be an active participant here at Fuerstenau through volunteering in our classrooms and joining us for special events. Our Parent/Teacher Association is very active and regularly plans many activities to involve parents in our school community.

If you have questions or concerns throughout the year, please contact your child's teacher or me. By working together, your child can benefit from our mutual support. We look forward to providing a successful, personal experience for you and your child.
