Lights, Camera, Action!

This SEZ camerapring the DeWitt High School Library received five EZ 217 flip cameras, thanks to a grant awarded by the DeWitt Schools Booster Club. These cameras were an instant high with both students and staff; on the same day that they arrived to the school, within only a short time of this, they were used by students in a Spanish class. And since that day they have continued to be in very high demand by students and staff in a wide variety of content areas.

The size and ease of use make these portable cameras a useful tool for student projects. The fact that five were granted allows for the cameras to be checked out by students so that they can complete projects outside of the school walls. They run on AA batteries, so there are no battery charging issues to worry about, and a USB cord connects them to a computer making it easy to download the videos or pictures.

These cameras have been a very welcome addition to the collection of the DeWitt High School library, and will no doubt continue to be used for many years to come.
