Bus Route Information
Information regarding bus routes and times is now available on-line with access to Infinite Campus. If you have not received your access information, please contact the Technology Department Help Desk at 668-3590. If you have already accessed Infinite Campus and believe the transportation information contained is incorrect, please contact the Transportation Department at 668-3028, or e-mail.
Bus /Schedule Route Change
For ANY change to your student's school bus transportation, please complete form
- Forward to your student's building(s)
- A separate form is required for each student
- After changes are made at the building level, the form will be forwarded to Transportation
- Updates to bus schedule will be made and parents notified
Note: It may take up to a week to make the requested changes.
Transportation
DeWitt Public Schools provides busing to students to and from school on pre-determined routes that abide with all state laws. The district conducts a 2-tiered bus schedule, with buses running two morning routes, back to back, and two afternoon routes, back to back.

Information regarding bus routes and times is mailed annually to student homes. If you have not received your information by the week before school is to scheduled to begin, call 668-3028 or e-mail.
Bus Rules for Students
Safety for all students is our priority when transporting students. The following rules, although not all inclusive, have been established to maintain order safety and well-being for all.
- Follow all bus driver's directions
- Sit facing front in assigned seats
- Classroom behavior is expected
- Talk quietly; be respectful of others
- Beverages, food, candy and chewing gum are not allowed on the bus
- Do not throw items on or out of the bus
- Aisles must be clear at all times
- All items must be in backpack/bag, and be held on your lap, including band instruments
- Do not write on or damage seats
- Cell phones are not to be used on the bus
- Any behavior that distracts the driver will be cause for discipline
- DeWitt Public Schools policy for tobacco, alcohol, weapons, illegal substance/materials is enforceable on the school bus
- Cell phones must be kept in backpacks/bookbags/pockets/purses while on the bus. If visible, the driver will return it to the Transportation Supervisor for the parent to pick up.
